Since joining the family estate in 2008, Raphaël Saint-Cyr, representing the fourth generation of winemakers, has profoundly transformed the vineyard: conversion to organic farming, meticulous plot-by-plot work, extended aging on fine lees (from 6 to 18 months), use of indigenous yeasts, and controlled extraction. Here, the focus is clearly on the antithesis of primeurs wines.
A leading figure in this new generation of demanding winemakers dedicated to their appellation, Raphaël Saint-Cyr strives above all to produce Beaujolais wines true to their origin, accurately revealing the golden stone terroirs.
