Corse DOMAINE SANTAMARIA

Santamaria estate is located in the heart of an amazing landscape and vineyard, in the north of the magic Corsisa Island, next to the beautiful Saint-Florent bay.

The sixth generation is represented by Thomas Santamaria back in the estate since 2016, and Matisse Santamaria since 2020. Both work with their father, Jean-Louis Santamaria.

The vineyard of 20 hectars, worked in organic farming since 2014, is very closed to the Padula lake, which brings freshness into the wines in this warm Mediterranean climate.

The terroir is diversified with limestone for AOP Patrimonio (the oldest appellation of the island), also with shale hillsides and clay soils for IGP Ile de Beauté.

In the cellar, the guideline is the expression of the terroir.

The vinification are made with indigenous yeasts. Maceration of grapes and temperature controlled are key in the vinification to create fresh, fruity, complex and expressives wines.

The white wines offers a beautiful bitterness, with a fruity  easy drinking style. Reds are elegant and powerful to represent the Patrimonio AOP.
