Bourgogne DOMAINE JL & JC BERSAN

It is in Saint-Bris le Vineux, in the Grand Auxerrois vineyard in the north of Burgundy, that Jean-Christophe Bersan strives to give the most beautiful expression to his magnificent Burgundy terroir of 21 hectares including 6 historic grape varieties that give an exceptional facet to the vineyard.

Here, we cultivate great whites (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Aligoté) and great reds (Pinot Noir, César, Gamay) without complex and with generosity!

Rich in know-how cultivated for several generations, Jean-Christophe will nevertheless have marked the history of the family estate in 2009 by forcing the conversion to organic farming.

Supported by his father Jean-Louis, he slowly oriented his work in the cellar towards increasingly natural vinifications (indigenous yeasts, very few sulphites).

Long ageings (in barrels or in stainless steel vats) are now perfectly mastered and the wines produced promise a nice taste journey.

Like the underground cellar of the estate, the move upmarket is as beautiful as it is surprising..
